Laura's Sketch #33 2S4Y

The season is creeping up on us and I decided to start getting ready. Laura's sketch brought the holiday season instantly to mind. The ornaments paper, rub-on, and cardstock are from Stampin' Up, the checkered paper is from My Minds Eye, Ribbons are from my stash of scraps. This was great Laura! I had fun.

Kazan's # 33 2 Sketches 4 You

The paper I used for this card was in my stash, you know the stash you've had for awhile and say I'm going to use that one of these days, I just love it. Well I pulled it out a couple of days ago and when I saw Kazan's sketch I said I know just the paper I'll use (Cherry Arte), I also used Rose Red cardstock and a rub on from Stampin' Up, ribbon from my ribbon stash, and stickles. I'm really pleased with how it turned out, I hope you are too.

Laura's Sketch #32 2S4Y

This was a fun sketch to make because there were so many possibilities. I also created this because it is my oldest grandchild's 13th birthday today. Happy 13th Birthday LOGAN!!!!!!!! This is a very special day not only because it's Logan's birthday but because it is the first birthday I have been able to celebrate with him.

Went to Market, Night 2

Last night Peter and I went to Folsom Thursday Night Market to set up our Debbie B's booth. We didn't see a lot of people buying much of anything. We sold 4 Burp Cloths, and one, The Ribbon Organizer. It's definitely a start. Received a lot of compliments on my cards but no one bought. There's always next week and the week after.

2 Sketches 4 You - Kazan # 32

I love this stamp set Thoughts and Prayers from Stampin' Up. The tree shape and the thoughts are so sentimental. I enjoyed participating in this weeks challenge.

Fabulous weekend!

Just got back from a trip to the SF Bay Area. It was my sister's birthday celebration and we played a round of golf on the Stanford University Golf Course. WOW! What a thrill. It would have been more of a thrill if I had played better. Oh well the thrill is still there. After the round of golf we had dinner at Fisherman's Grotto in SF. That was a thrill too, since I haven't been to San Francisco for about 11 years. I truly have missed the City by the Bay.

Early Saturday morning we left the Bay Area and drove up to Bear Valley for their Music Festival. It was fantastic. What beautiful country it is up there. I donated for an auction a pre-made Holiday Album, I was so nervous when the auctioneer started the bidding, I was worried no one would bid on it. Luckily a very nice lady bid on it and it sold. Phew! Definitely an experience.

Sunday we drove home on Route 49. What a beautiful drive. I'm sure are lucky to live in such beautiful country.
